  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transportation; appropriating money for 
  1.3             express transit bus service between downtown 
  1.4             Minneapolis and Anoka county highway No. 22. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; EXPRESS BUS SERVICE.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   metropolitan council for the 2002-2003 fiscal biennium to 
  1.9   implement and provide express bus service from downtown 
  1.10  Minneapolis along marked trunk highway No. 65 (Central Avenue) 
  1.11  to its intersection with Anoka county highway No. 22 and to 
  1.12  construct a park-and-ride lot at or near that intersection.  The 
  1.13  service provided under this section must include a minimum of 
  1.14  one bus in each peak period on each weekday.
