  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; authorizing the 
  1.3             issuance of state bonds; appropriating money for the 
  1.4             Sauk Rapids bridge. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $13,500,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds account 
  1.8   in the state transportation fund as provided in Minnesota 
  1.9   Statutes, section 174.50, to provide the state funds to 
  1.10  reconstruct the Sauk Rapids bridge. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [BOND SALE.] 
  1.12     To provide the money appropriated in this act from the bond 
  1.13  proceeds account in the state transportation fund, the 
  1.14  commissioner of finance shall sell and issue bonds of the state 
  1.15  in an amount up to $13,500,000 in the manner, upon the terms, 
  1.16  and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 
  1.17  16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article 
  1.18  XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.19     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.20     Sections 1 and 2 are effective the day following final 
  1.21  enactment.
