relating to human rights; appropriating money for consultant to develop multilingual
helpline to report discrimination.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $250,000 in fiscal year 2020 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of human rights for a grant to a nonprofit organization to consult with and provide assistance
to the commissioner on the multilingual helpline for reporting discrimination, to work with
impacted communities, and to educate the public on the impact of bias. This appropriation
is available until June 30, 2021.
