A bill for an act
relating to economic development; appropriating money for economic
development, redevelopment, and job creation programs and projects.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT,
REDEVELOPMENT, AND JOB CREATION PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS.

new text begin $1,200,000 in fiscal year 2016 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to a city of the
second class that is designated as an economically depressed area by the United States
Department of Commerce for economic development, redevelopment, and job creation
programs and projects. This appropriation is available until expended.
