relating to state government; appropriating money for equipment grants to public
television.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin GRANTS TO PUBLIC TELEVISION.

$770,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $770,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of administration for the purpose of providing
equipment grants to public television under Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.13. The
commissioner shall consider the recommendations of the Minnesota Public Television
Association before awarding grants from money appropriated in this section.
