relating to employment and economic development; appropriating money for
Centers for Independent Living.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATIONS.

new text begin $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2008 and $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2009 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development
for grants to the eight Centers for Independent Living. These amounts must be added to
the base funding for this program.
