relating to workforce development; appropriating money for Ka Joog to establish
tech training centers.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; KA JOOG TECH TRAINING.

$8,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to
the commissioner of employment and economic development to make grants to Ka Joog
for two new American workforce tech training centers to provide job readiness, skills
training, entrepreneurship training, digital literacy, and ongoing career learning. This is a
onetime appropriation.
