relating to workforce development; appropriating money for performance grants
to International Institute of Minnesota.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MINNESOTA.

$350,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $350,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated from the
workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development
for performance grants under Minnesota Statutes, section 116J.8747, to the International
Institute of Minnesota for workforce training for New Americans in industries in need of a
trained workforce.
