relating to natural resources; appropriating money for campgrounds at Birch Lake
Recreation Area.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin BIRCH LAKE RECREATION AREA; CITY OF BABBITT;
APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $350,000 in fiscal year 2021 is appropriated from the environment and natural resources
trust fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to the city of Babbitt to expand
the Birch Lake Recreation Area by adding a new campground to include new campsites,
restrooms, and other facilities. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June
30, 2024.
