relating to parks and trails; appropriating money for Lake Waconia Regional Park.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin LAKE WACONIA REGIONAL PARK; CARVER COUNTY.

$300,000 in fiscal year 2018 is appropriated from the parks and trails fund to the
Metropolitan Council for a grant to Carver County for improvements at the Coney Island
of the West at Lake Waconia Regional Park, including cleaning up and removing vegetation
and historic building remnants, constructing camp and picnic areas, and installing walking
trails. This is a onetime appropriation.
