A bill for an act
 relating to human services; providing a nursing facility operating payment rate
increase for a facility in Le Sueur County; amending Minnesota Statutes 2014,
section 256B.431, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 256B.431, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Rate increase for a facility in Le Sueur County. new text end

new text begin Effective October 1,
2015, the operating payment rate of a nursing facility located in Le Sueur County and
licensed for 55 beds as of January 1, 2015, that is reimbursed under this section, section
256B.434, or section 256B.441, shall be increased to be equal, for a resource utilization
group rate with a weight of 1.00, to a daily rate of $210.57. The rate under this subdivision
shall be applied before any other operating payment rate adjustments effective on October
1, 2015, are computed. The percentage of the operating payment rate to be case-mix
adjusted shall be equal to the percentage that is case-mix adjusted on September 30, 2015.
