A bill for an act
 relating to workforce development; appropriating money for adult workforce
programs.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin ADULT WORKFORCE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING
ACTIVITIES; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $10,000,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $10,000,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated
from the workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic
development for adult workforce employment and training activities administered by
workforce service areas. Funds available under this section must be allocated to and used
by workforce service areas in the same manner as provided for under Public Law 113-128,
sections 133 and 134. This appropriation is subject to the requirements of Minnesota
Statutes, section 116L.98.
