A bill for an act
relating to state government; transferring responsibilities relating to
administration of the federal weatherization program and the low-income home
energy assistance program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin TRANSFER OF DUTIES.

new text begin Responsibilities relating to federal and state weatherization programs and relating to
the low-income home energy assistance program are transferred from the commissioner of
commerce to the commissioner of human services. Minnesota Statutes, section 15.039,
applies to these transfers.

Sec. 2. new text begin REVISOR'S INSTRUCTION.

new text begin The revisor of statutes shall recodify Minnesota Statutes, sections 216C.264,
216C.265, and 216C.266, as part of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 16B, and make necessary
cross-reference changes consistent with the recodification.

Sec. 3. new text begin EFFECTIVE DATE.

new text begin Sections 1 and 2 are effective July 1, 2015.
