A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; appropriating money for a public access site at Lac
Qui Parle Lake in Chippewa County.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $5,000 in fiscal year 2014 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of natural resources to improve the public water access site on Lac Qui Parle Lake in
Chippewa County. The commissioner of natural resources shall maintain year-round road
access to the site, in cooperation with Appleton Township and Kragero Township, via the
Appleton Township Road in Swift County and Kragero Township Road in Chippewa
County, known as 220th Avenue SW, which runs from the intersection with marked Trunk
Highway 119 south of Appleton to a terminus near Lac Qui Parle Lake in Chippewa County.
