relating to education finance; authorizing a technology levy for Independent
School District No. 381, Lake Superior.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin TECHNOLOGY LEVY; LAKE SUPERIOR SCHOOL DISTRICT.

new text begin Each year, Independent School District No. 381, Lake Superior, may levy an amount
not to exceed $200 times the resident marginal cost pupil units of the district for that year.
The proceeds of this levy must be used to purchase or lease instructional technology,
including hardware, software, and other educational technology, and telecommunications
and connectivity equipment.
