A bill for an act
relating to economic development; appropriating money to the Minnesota
Inventors Congress.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin MINNESOTA INVENTORS CONGRESS.

$50,000 in fiscal year 2012 and $50,000 in fiscal year 2013 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for grants to
the Minnesota Inventors Congress. Of this amount, $5,000 each year is for the Student
Inventors Congress. The commissioner shall not reduce the grant award in any year.
