1.2relating to capital investment; authorizing spending to acquire and better public
1.3land and buildings and other improvements of a capital nature with certain
1.4conditions; authorizing the sale of state bonds; appropriating money for a wind
1.5generator at the Minnesota State Academies.
1.6BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.7 Section 1. MINNESOTA STATE ACADEMIES; WIND GENERATOR.
1.8 Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $1,500,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.9fund to the commissioner of administration for planning, design, and engineering and to
1.10acquire and install a wind generator on either campus of the Minnesota State Academies.
1.11 Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in subdivision 1 from
1.12the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance shall sell and issue bonds of the
1.13state in an amount up to $1,500,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect
1.14prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota
1.15Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.16EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
