A bill for an act
 relating to education finance; increasing funding to the parent-child home
program; amending Laws 2015, First Special Session chapter 3, article 9, section
8, subdivision 7.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2015, First Special Session chapter 3, article 9, section 8, subdivision
7, is amended to read:


Subd. 7.

Parent-child home program.

For a grant to the parent-child home
program:

The grant must be used for an evidence-based and research-validated early childhood
literacy and school readiness program for children ages 16 months to four years at its
existing suburban program location. The program must include urban and rural program
locations for fiscal years 2016 and 2017.
