A bill for an act
relating to transportation; appropriating money to build noise barriers along marked
Interstate Highway 694 in the city of Oakdale.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin NOISE BARRIER APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $3,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of transportation to design and construct a noise barrier on the east side of marked Interstate
Highway 694 in the city of Oakdale between the intersection with 15th Street North and
the intersection with Stillwater Boulevard North. Where there are existing berms or other
noise barriers on this segment of road, no additional noise barrier is required. This is a
onetime appropriation.
