A bill for an act
relating to state government; establishing appointment confirmation through senate
inaction; amending Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 15.066, by adding a
subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 15.066, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

within 60 legislative days of the day of receipt of the letter of appointment by the president
of the senate, the senate has consented to the appointment.
