A bill for an act
relating to education; allowing school districts to begin the school year before
Labor Day; amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 120A.40.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 120A.40, is amended to read:


120A.40 SCHOOL CALENDAR.

authorized under sections 124D.12 to 124D.127, and learning year programs under section
124D.128,
