A bill for an act
relating to state government; requiring commissioner of administration to place a
bust of Nellie Stone Johnson in the State Capitol Building; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 138.68, the commissioner of
administration shall place a bust of Nellie Stone Johnson in the State Capitol Building.
The Department of Administration, in consultation with the Minnesota Historical Society
and the Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board, shall apply existing guidelines for
design and placement of works of art in the State Capitol Building.
