A bill for an act
relating to public safety; repealing the Implied Consent Law; repealing
Minnesota Statutes 2008, sections 169A.50; 169A.51; 169A.52; 169A.53.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin REVISOR'S INSTRUCTION.

new text begin (a) The revisor of statutes, in consultation with house research and senate counsel,
shall identify all Minnesota Statutes affected by the repeal of Minnesota Statutes, sections
169A.50 to 169A.53, Implied Consent Law.

new text begin (b) The revisor of statutes, in consultation with house research and senate counsel,
shall prepare draft legislation showing technical and other necessary changes resulting
from the repeal of the implied consent law for the chairs and ranking minority members of
the house of representatives and senate committees and divisions with jurisdiction over
public safety and criminal justice by January 1, 2010.
