Defining and providing for the regulation and registration of certain activities
constituting technology business by the commissioner of administration; defining
certain terms relating to alarm, audio signal, communication and certain
electronic systems; authorizing the businesses to perform certain services and
provide certain products, work performed and products supplied to be regulated
through the building code; prohibiting the imposition of licensing requirements
or fees, taxes or other assessments by state departments, agencies or boards or
by local government units; requiring the commissioner to maintain a register of
technology businesses for public inspection; specifying certain registration
application and fee requirements; authorizing the commissioner to appoint an
advisory committee to assist the commissioner with certain duties (mk)
