E Modifying certain provisions regulating farm product liens and + financing
statements; defining or redefining certain terms; requiring the +computerized
filing system to provide information about certain farm products, +eliminating
the requirement for the secretary of state to determine the products +to be
included; providing for the form of lien notices and financing +statements and
modifying certain content and signature requirements; requiring the +termination
of existing financing statements or lien notices to amend the +information
contained; authorizing the secretary of state to establish satellite +offices,
specifying certain agreement, duties, filings treatment and +recordkeeping
requirements; modifying certain financing statement or lien notice +filing
requirements and procedures, providing for standard forms; modifying +the effect
of filings on perfection and priority; modifying certain content and +filing
requirements for continuation and termination statements; expanding +certain
master list compilation requirements of the secretary of state and +modifying
certain distribution requirements; clarifying and modifying the +procedure for
treatment of inquiries and increasing certain fees; providing +immunity from
liability to the secretary of state and county recorders for +computerized
filing system errors; eliminating the requirement for the secretary +of state to
make farm product dealers registration information available to the commissioner
of agriculture for distribution; imposing a temporary +surcharge on financing
statements and lien notices filed after a certain date to +be remitted to the
