for qualified professionals to acquire an entrance license, +authorizing the
offering of the program in any instructional field; specifying +certain
applicant qualification and program content requirements; requiring commissioner
of education program approval based on criteria +developed by an advisory group
to be appointed by the commissioner; authorizing the +issuance of an eligibility
license to begin teaching to applicants successfully +completing the training,
requiring the appointment of mentors; requiring the +board of teaching to issue
standard entrance licenses to training program +licensees successfully
completing the training program and teaching in a +classroom for a complete
school year and receiving a positive recommendation (mk)
