persons; establishing certain prelicense and continuing education requirements;
modifying certain general powers of commissioner of commerce; regulating

provider, course coordinator and instructor requirements; prohibiting certain
practices by coordinators and instructors; imposing fees; requiring adequate
facilities and supplementary materials; regulating the advertising of prelicense
and continuing education courses; specifying certain notice requirements at the
beginning of each approved educational offering; authorizing audits by
commissioner of commerce; regulating falsification of reports, disciplinary
actions, waivers and extensions and reporting requirements; modifying certain
insurance producers examination requirements; specifying certain prelicense
education requirements; requiring criminal history record checks for individuals
applying for a resident insurance producer license; modifying certain continuing
insurance education requirements; modifying insurance adjusters regulations;
defining certain terms including emergency situation; modifying licensure
requirements; regulating resident adjuster license procedure and requirements,
examinations and fees; specifying certain independent adjuster continuing
education requirements; modifying nonresident independent adjuster licensure
requirements; modifying the definition of public adjuster; specifying certain
insurer notification requirements to commissioner for a declared catastrophe;
modifying certain provisions relating to the denial, suspension and revocation
of licenses; specifying independent adjusters record retention requirements;
imposing standards of conduct of independent adjusters; requiring the reporting
of administrative actions taken against an independent adjuster; modifying
certain public adjuster provisions; providing for escrow or trust accounts;
specifying real estate brokers and salespersons education course curriculum
requirements; modifying certain licensure provisions; authorizing the imposition
of federal appraisal subcommittee fees; requiring course completion
certifications for real estate appraiser licenses; providing professional
