defining the scope of practice of naturopathic medicine and certain terms;
regulating professional conduct, requiring a signed disclosure form from the
patient prior to initiating treatment and informed consent from patients,
requiring maintenance of certain patient records, requiring compliance with
state and municipal public health regulations, providing for the protection of
identity; requiring licensing by the board of medical practice; regulating the
use of protected titles; specifying certain general requirements for
registration; providing for registration by endorsement or reciprocity;
authorizing the board to issue a temporary registration to practice as a
registered naturopathic doctor under certain conditions; requiring annual
registration renewal; providing for registrant placement in inactive status, for
return to active status and for change of emeritus status of registration;
requiring board action on applications for registration and cancellation under
certain conditions; specifying certain continuing education requirements;
subjecting registered naturopathic doctors and applicants to certain
disciplinary actions; imposing certain fees
