3E Removing the expiration dates for peace officer enforcement of department of
health ex parte order for isolation, quarantine or transport of persons;
clarifying peace officer options with regard to apprehension, holding,
transporting and quarantine of persons; making technical changes; requiring the
state supreme court to develop procedures for compensating language interpreters
and medical experts; expanding emergency vaccine administration conditions to
include local board of health requests for commissioner of health assistance;
providing for mass dispensing of medications (vaccine) under authority of
commissioner of health for emergencies and pandemics, authorizing commissioner
to request volunteers from the Minnesota responds medical reserve corps and
allowing commissioner to request work on the Minnesota mobile medical unit
(MMU); clarifying volunteer rights and benefits, authorizing commissioner to
prescribe legend drugs for mass dispensing or for tuberculosis control,
expending the list of medicines commissioner may purchase and store
