ARTICLE 1 - CONSTRUCTION CODES AND
LICENSING

Making housekeeping changes to the construction codes and licensing
division; modifying certain provisions relating to licensing enforcement and
exemptions; specifying certain corporate surety bond requirements and making
conforming changes; exempting course approval fees for continuing education
courses submitted by the state; modifying the model building code review and
evaluation process; requiring the publishing of an electronic version of certain
state building code modifications within a certain time frame; including
elevators in residential dwellings to items exempt from operating permit fees;
providing an exception to the elevator code requirements for common interest
ownership properties (condominiums) installed prior to a certain date; modifying
certain licensed plumber, water conditioning, construction contractor,
residential trades, high pressure piping, and boiler provisions; authorizing
rulemaking
