Establishing a school linked prevention and early intervention grant program for
children between certain ages to increase the interaction between parents and
school staff and to improve student attendance and school participation;
specifying certain requirements of grant recipients and certain grant applicant
eligibility requirements, requiring applicants to be a school or school district
and a nonprofit community based organization; specifying student and family
eligibility for services under the program; prescribing the application process
and providing for awarding of the grants by the commissioner of children,
families and learning; appropriating money to the commissioner for the program,
designating a certain amount to independent school district 283, St. Louis Park
for the Aquila community together program (mk)
