to adopt ranked-choice voting as the method of voting for local offices;
permitting local governments to adopt ranked-choice voting by ordinance,
resolution, or by voter approval; permitting home rule charter cities to adopt
ranked-choice voting in their charters; restricting ranked-choice voting to
general or special elections; providing for ranked-choice voting to be repealed
by the same method used for adoption; requiring secretary of state notification;
specifying ballot requirements for ranked-choice elections; requiring
ranked-choice voting tabulation center designation; requiring reporting results
and permitting recounts; allowing secretary of state rulemaking; specifying
requirements for postelection review and systems testing and newly purchased
electronic voting systems requirements
